About This Spot

Stepping into The Tipsy Muse Cafe feels like slipping into a beloved neighborhood retreat where familiarity and warmth quietly take center stage. Nestled on Regent Street in Fredericton, this café unfolds at a relaxed, thoughtful pace—an inviting nook where conversation flows easily amid the soft hum of carefully curated vintage vinyl and the occasional murmur of local musicians tuning up. It’s a place that simultaneously offers comfort and sparks curiosity, drawing in early risers, creative souls, and anyone seeking a genuine moment of pause.

The mood here is effortless yet intentional, an embrace of both vibrant community life and quiet reflection. You’re greeted with genuine smiles from baristas who are as passionate about crafting your coffee as they are about sharing stories—whether about the local art displayed on the walls or the unique events hosted in the space. It’s this thread of connection that weaves the café together, making each visit feel personal.

Beyond the comforting aroma of freshly brewed espressos and the gentle clatter of ceramic cups, the menu hints at thoughtful creativity. Imagine savoring an unexpected twist on a classic latte—perhaps one infused with subtle lavender or paired with a soft, jalapeño-spiked bagel that surprises your palate. There’s a quiet celebration of textures and flavors here, from plant-based sandwiches to warming turmeric tea, encouraging you to pause and discover something new with every visit.

The Tipsy Muse is not just a spot for coffee; it’s a gathering place where local art meets daily ritual, where the vibe feels open and inclusive, and where every detail—from gluten-free options served with care to unique, seasonally inspired drinks—reflects a respect for the people who walk through its doors. Whether you’re dropping in before work, meeting friends, or simply carving out time for yourself, it offers more than just a caffeine fix—it offers a moment of belonging.

When you walk in your greeted very kindly, all the workers there at very cool and funny. Coffee is delicious and the bagels are to die for. The people here are very friendly, they always have stories to share with the baristas ! Overall If you need a place to go to before work or just to go for some good coffee, it’s the place to be.

Great modern instagram-able environment with yummy coffee! I got their iced latte that did not disappoint at all! Did not try their pastries, food...or cocktails! But the bagels the lady in front of me got looked pretty good. Also noticed they have a calendar that displays events they host at their coffee shop...there are open mic’s, local bands that come through, etc... a must try in the little cute town of Fredrickton.

Delicious fresh coffee and donut. My daughter loved her hot chocolate and gluten free bagel. Awesome vibe. Love that you can buy locally roasted beans & coffee scented soaps. Especially appreciated Gord Downey artwork & the vintage vinyl for sale.

Delicious Gluten free option!! They have a plain gluten free bagel option, and were very kind to open a new plain cream cheese for me to prevent cross contamination. They also have a gluten free toaster which is so so so lovely. My bagel came out of the kitchen on a tray with parchemin paper before being plated and delivered to me personally. Not to mention the bagel itself was delicious- I had to get my partner to taste it to make sure it was actually gluten free (lol). These folks really went over and above to accommodate my allergy, and it is so incredibly appreciated. The people I was with had coffee served in beautiful hand-made pottery mugs, and the Breakfast Bagel. Accessibility: there is a ramp alternative to the few stairs to enter the cafe. Gender neutral, accessible washrooms in the back.

I love this coffee shop with a passion! It was my go-to place when I lived in Freddy. The coffee is GREAT, as well as the italian sodas (try lavender and you’ll thank yourself and me). It’s in a really nice area too. The pastries are delicious but I wish there were more food options :). The baristas were always really nice to me as well as the owner. I love that they extended their hours to 7pm too! They have artists who have their art up in the shop for people to admire (and they change the art periodically). I love this place!

I would come back to Fredericton just for another chat with Jeremy (Freddy Bean Roasters) and the delightfully friendly barista. My husband and I stumbled upon this cafe in the late afternoon, and we got a cold brew coffee and a lil’ coffee bundt cake (don’t really have pictures of the cake cuz we ate it quickly)! Love the space, love the vibe, and if you are ever in downtown Fredericton, this is by far the best cafe hands down!
